I hope Spain, but I think Germany will take it all.

Lump a lot of money of France. Ridiculous value at 11/1. They have one of the most exciting attacks in the competition.

I watched them against Iceland and some of their link up play is something else (Ribery and Giroud especially). If Ben Arfa is your impact player, and Giroud's a sub, you're looking at a strong squad.

Imagine this line up:

------------------Loris----------

Debuchy Koscielny Rami Evra

------------M'Vila Cabaye-----

Nasri-------Benzema-----Ribery

---------------Giroud-------------

Then you have Menez and Ben Arfa has impact subs. Christ.

Not gonna be Spain this time, sorry Spaniards.

Italy have a great team, they might stir up things. I'm putting my bet on them to win it.

I'm quite sure Germany makes it to the next round, but not so sure about Netherlands. Edwin Van der Sar was the one who managed to make up of for their weaknesses in defence during Euro 2008... On the other hand, Portugal isn't exactly what it once was either. I don't really know about Denmark.
I used to be a fan of France, but lost interest after Zidane left the team.

I don't support a team in particular, but I hope for Netherlands a bit. They gained a lot of sympathy during Euro 2008 (which took place in Austria and Switzerland) as their fans turned our capital city orange the entire time without causing much trouble.

these are my expectations for the group stage

I'm really interested in Italy's performance. Il Calcio is in really deep trouble right now, that will have messed up their entire preparation, whether or not the players actually playing for Italian teams.

Probably.

Speaking about bets, Djokovic was 3 games to love up against Seppi in the first set. Seppi's odds at the time to win the match was 66/1. Seppi's now winning 2 sets to love and his odds to win the game is 6/4. Ridiculous.
