Olivier Giroud signs for Arsenal from Montpellier

Do they expect Van Persie to leave? I don't see any other reason for signing two additional strikers. I know Podolski can play out wide, but considering they already have capable players in that position, I wouldn't expect Podolski to play there that often.

Van Persie will go to wherever he can get the biggest paypacket. He upped his game last season because he know it would get him either, a new contract, or a move to a bigger club.

If he stays, they'll just rotate, I'd expect. Giroud/RVP up front, with Podolski out wide, and then Gervinho/Walcott on the other side.

No,Arsene Wenger already said that RVP is not leaving,even if he is not signing a new contract,they will risk a free for him next season,they cant get a huge fee right now because he only has 1 year left and he is 29,so about 15-20m is what they can get,they'll make more keeping him tbh.

Arsenal have a great squad next season,Podo/RVP/Giroud/Theo/Gerviniho/OX/M'Villa/Song/Arteta and THE BEST OF THEM ALL,i so want him back is JACK WILSHERE!

It's probable, his agent kept yapping about it all season long. I actually feel really bad for Krasic because he gave his all during the 2010/2011 season but it wasn't enough cuz the rest of the team and management was terrible.

After Conte became coach, he didn't fit the system after a few games in because Conte prefers the wingers to come back and help in defense...something Krasic just doesn't do. His movement is also too predictable.

I would rather keep him because of Champions League next year but yeah, he is probably gonna be sold. I think Tottenham were interested in him.

I've heard about the supposed Tottenham interest too. Chelsea were apparently looking at him during the AVB era.
