Hoops legend Michael Jordan appears poised to redefine the game once again.
Jordan, a six-time NBA title winner with the Chicago Bulls, has become part-owner of the Charlotte Bobcats. As a part-owner, Jordan will additionally assume the role of team president for the upstart franchise.
With the move, the 43-year-old Jordan joins primary owner and BET founder Bob Johnson, as one of the few African-American duos in all of professional sports to serve in such lofty positions. Rap star Nelly is also a minority owner of the Bobcats.
