Really hope so.
If we got Cavani as the final piece of the jigsaw that would be incredible.

Is there any truth to this, Guess_Who?

In all honesty, Buffon could've easily stopped it.

I still think they have a good midfield to put on a nice match and at least it isn't a do-or-die match. I hope Giovinco plays, I think he could take on any defender head on like Giaccherini did in their friendly a few months back.

Italy kinda lost it before it started to be honest homie... Pirlo & De Rossi make the difference.
I say it was a great game but Italy looked really bad most of the first half... & some of the second too.
Barzagli should start the next game too IMO...
Honestly...I didn't expect Prandelli to start Aquilani and Candreva for this match Especially since he subbed the former out so early in the match prior.
I also think Italy's best chance is to mimic Juventus' formation. Their defender are used to that and look like headless chickens when they are used in a four defense lineup. Just like when Italy faced Spain in their Euro opener, they looked so much more solid and stronger and it'd bring the best out of the Juventus players who make up the majority of the starting squad.
Giaccherini has been pretty fucking awesome all tournament though.
