When it comes to Lebron or the field I'm still taking Lebron ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Kyrie isn't unproven tbh, guy's already potential top 5 PG in skill and with LeBron he'll be even better. Wiggins will be a big role player, as will Bennett (I have faith in the guy). They signed Mike Miller, will likely sign Ray Allen, have a ton of picks, etc etc. They're not only a contender this year, they'll be a contender for years to come. Seems pretty obvious to me.

4 straight Finals appearances, 2 championships and a better front office.

That's why Miami was the better choice.

haha, sounds familiar (*cough* DAN GILBERT *cough*)

The Miami Heat is a championship organization, the Cavaliers aren't.

Miami has made it to the playoffs 10 times in the last 11 years, and have won 3 championships in their 5 Finals appearances.

When that faggot Dan Gilbert said that, it was laughable as EVERYONE knew the Cavaliers were not going to win a championship, no less before Miami.

Pat Riley has done an excellent job at re-tooling the roster, and while you can't replace the best basketball player on the planet, you can most definitely add depth to his position by acquiring Luol Deng, Danny Granger, and up and comer James Ennis.

Re-signing Chris Bosh was huge (especially when everyone thought he was leaving for Houston). D-Wade is back, and while he missed a few games last season for "maintenance", he finished with a career high FG% while playing career low minutes.

And we STILL have money left to spend.

The 2014-2015 Miami Heat WILL make the playoffs and are legitimate title contenders, the 2010-2011 Cavaliers had one of the worst regular season records of all time. Point made?

Sounds like you're talking about the past an awful lot haamie. All the stats and stuff about finals don't matter if Lebron isn't there. It's a completely different team cause Lebron is just that good. The Heat have done things this offseason to solidify they're a playoff team, but they won't beat the Cavs. The team is still basically the same except for Granger and McRoberts, and I don't think they're enough to change what I saw last year when Bron wasn't on the court.

But I can see I won't be persuading you any time soon. It's good that you're a passionate fan but c'mon dude, the Cavs are the better basketball team.

Lakers are rebuilding and we got some young studs the likes of Clarkson and Randle I'm looking forward to seeing them play. See if we can sign boozer for the remaining cap and get a coach soon. Byron Scott will be interviewed by the lakers again for the third time which I'd be fine with him coaching just get it done and sign him.

I did forget about Deng, that's a nice addition. Don't get me wrong, the Heat will post a very respectable record. But LeBron/Kyrie/Wiggins/Bennett/Varajao are very solid and they continue to add pieces (miller/jones/potentially allen). They have a very nice roster currently; sure it may be unproven, but I don't see why it isn't a reason to believe that if the pieces align like they should, they'll be the best in the East. If not this year, certainly next. The future of the Cavs is bright. More flexibility than the Heat would've had if they signed Bron back imo.

Agreed on the gameplan aspect, I was more so talking about talent. I'm unsure of Wade, but anticipate Bosh will have a pretty big impact in the offense. Chalmers still questionable, Cole solid role player, Granger nice potential scorer, McRoberts (I think he's gonna play very well), and Deng. I don't think they'll be getting Boozer, looks like the Lakers are gonna make an attempt at him.

Also agree on the front staff. Cleveland's is unproven, but they've got the pieces right now to be very good. All they had in the past was Lebron, and they struggles to give him other options. They've already added better pieces than they ever had in Bron's past stint and he has gotten better himself. It seems it would take as much belief to think they'll underperform as it would to think they'll be good.

There's hype for good reason. We'll see when the season starts.

Lakers are actually decent-looking now, I guess lol

Lin/Kobe/Wes/Boozer/Hill
Nash/Young/Xavier/Randle/Davis
Clarkson/Kelly

Should be a fun watch. Hopefully we'll be fighting for a playoff seed (if everyone is healthy!)
