It won against the World Cup Winner, Spain. I didn't say USA, I said Spain in case some of you didn't read or hear it very well. So it's not always USA... Well I wasn't here to talk about the World Cup Winner, I was here to talk about the Europe Cup Winner which is Russia.
Spain 59 - 60 Russia
Both teams had great players, a few who play in the NBA. The match was pretty intense, Spain was winning most of the time until at the end, the last minute. Spain was winning by 3 points but Russia got 2 in. 2 seconds left, the ball is passed to Gasol (Spanish player) throws. Slightly missed it and Russia is the European Cup winner.
