NFL Playoff Picks

Postby LLockhart86 » Jan 11th, '10, 16:24

Colts and Ravens.

Chargers and Jets.

Saints and Cardinals.

Vikings and Dallas.

----------------------------------------------------

I pick.

Ravens. Chargers. Cardinals. And Vikings of course. :)

Dallas will probably be the toughest game of the year for the Vikings. However, people are assuming the vikings will play as shitty as they did vs. the cardinals and the panthers.

Keep in mind these were away games mbmfan. And we ARE playing at home so :)

Also keep in mind that giants game. Giants weren't just playing shitty...The vikings were playin as dope as they normally do. If the Vikings can play that well in the post season and shut down Dallas' defense then, goodbye dallas, hello XLIV

I hope the saints win however, Cuz that will be an extremely easy championship game for the Vikings OR Dallas. Seaming as the Saints have a garbage defense.... Remember the Bucs game??? But Im assuming the cardinals will win....

Good luck all, and mbmfan. Im going to make a whole thread for you of these :n: when the vikings beat dallas on sunday. :y:

I'm taking Colts, New Orleans (Arizona can't play on the road, especially as loud as that dome will be), San Diego, and Minnesota(trust Favre in that dome until he gives me reason not to)

Dallas couldnt beat NYG twice this year.

And we smoked NYG 2 last week.

Im not saying that means we will win no doubt but....statistically who's the better team?

And look at the whole season, not just the last 5 games. Thats what bothers me the most, nobody was talkin cowboys a month ago, then they won a couple now everybody thinks their the shit.

And let me say again, beating the saints aint sayin much....

who cares about statistics? that don't mean shit during the playoffs..if it did then the patriots would have won the superbowl when they were 16-0

well i look at the last 5 games because thats how the cowboys are playing now...and i have alwways been talking about the cowboys i mean look at all my posts and if people wanna ride the bandwagon fine let them ride

and haha we won our first playoff game and thats saying enough and Brett Favre chokes in the playoffs

Who cares about statistics??

The NFL and me. Statistics prove what a player/team is capable of. It also proves what a player/team is capable of with certain odds and how they play against other players/teams. Which actually says a lot. For example, statistically the cardinals have a shaky defense - Hence a packer comeback to almost win after what seemed to be a blowout. That proves that their defense is shaky......

Also, Statistically the Saints have a shaky defense - Hence a Dallas and Buccaneer win against them. A 25th ranked offense can smash a 25th ranked defense....Statistics matter when your looking at the matchup.

For instance - think about the vikings and dallas matchup. You have an 8th ranked team in passing yards and a 2nd ranked team in points(vikings) stacking up against a 20th ranked team in defense pass and a 2nd ranked team in defense points.

This tells me that you may shut down peterson, but you'll get crushed in the secondary which is favres specialty. Oh, and when you start getting sick of harvins screen passes for 7+ yards watch for the deep pass, and thats when peterson runs it up the gut and averages 4+yards a carry.

Romo has never been to a super bowl. This is the first dallas win post season in ten years.

Favre's gone to the super bowl twice and won once.

Favre has more experience and has the best team he's played with ever probably. Having the best season ever. And the vikings really only got blown out once this year in a dome...vs. arizona.

The vikings are undefeated at home.

The vikings lost 2 big games in the cold , but their wont be any cold weather post season.

One of those games we barely lost.

And the steelers game would have been ours if it wasnt for 2 bad plays at the end of the game. We beat the shit out of them on the field.

All I gotta say is, if dallas doesnt come with their A game its over with ( i.e. Giants )

And even if they do come with their A game, this will be the toughest game Dallas will be playing all year, aside from the Chargers game. (And ill give respect where respect is due with that game)

Thinkin that the vikings will get blown out is :n: . Goes the same for Dallas. But the track record for the vikings proves, if we get up in the first quarter...its a wrap.

Bottom line (literally :p ) - Vikings vs. Dallas will be a great game.

LMAO at the guy who said the Cards can't play on the road. They went 6-2 on the road this season and 2 out of 3 of NO's losses came at home...
