NFL 2010-2011 Regular Season Discussion

Postby Jaz » Sep 8th, '10, 19:39

Well it's just about upon us, and I can't fucking wait. I almost never get to watch my Steelers play unless it's a Monday because I work Sunday afternoons.. but still can't wait.

Who are your top picks for the playoffs/Super Bowl this year?

What's your favorite team? What do you think their record will be?

Etc..

The Steelers may have a rough start of the season ahead of them. Starting a third string quarterback for up to the first four games is gonna be a problem, especially after he lost to some easy competition last year while Roethlisberger was sitting out.. I'm pretty confident we can still hit 2-2 or better in those first four though, and when our other two QB's do come off of their respective suspension/injury we should come out strong.

I'm predicting an 11-5 season (losses coming to NO -1-, BAL -2-, CIN -1-, TEN -1-), and an extremely tough division with the Bengals and Ravens this year. Somehow the TO/Ochocinco combination makes me think they will bring out the best in eachother and create one of the better receiver sets in the league.. and the Ravens are always a threat.

At the very least I see us taking the wildcard if we don't have the division title, and I'd like to see a Steelers/Giants Super Bowl, just because that would be the most fun to watch for me, haha..

Dallas is about to whoop so ass and go all the way to the Super Bowl. We have Miles Austin who is pretty much our number one WR and Dez Bryant will do some damage as our new rookie. Yep Watch out for Romo and the Boys to go all the way this year. And for some reason if they don't then I'm predicting that Brett Farve will finally get his dream and make another super bowl appearance.

^ dallas looked like shit in the preseason, I wouldn't be surprised if they came in third in that division this year, but they have potential to maybe win first round of playoffs, but thats all.

I'm a colts fan, been since '98, and pretty much think every year the colts are going to the super bowl, and this year I def think so. I feel they are def the stand out team in the afc, and while the jets, chargers, dolphins, patriots, and ravens are good, I still think the colts are just that much better.

For the nfc, I think contenders are the vikings, saints, and packers for the super bowl. All the other teams I think are a level below them 3, they are top notch teams. My prediction will be vikings or packers vs colts in the bowl, but if I had to pick one I'd say the vikings.

for on toxic, it's "defense"

and secondly, looks like the vikings might pull out this game vs the saints, dude just missed his 2nd fg og the game...

but yeah the packers are good, their qb (forgot his name :sweating: ) is gunna have an even better season I think :y:

They're playing the Eagles. It won't be an easy game but if they want to be a Superbowl contender it's a team they have the beat.

Who do you like again?
