good fonts?

been to the sites in the Resources thread and some dont work anymore

when they do a get a .tif
not sure if thats what im supposed to get when i DL them but, if so what folder do i paste it in.
brushes i just put in brushes lol. there is no text or font folder...

anyone know good sites for Fonts and where to put them :sweating:

Dafont.com is the shit.

You should have a fonts folder on your computer. Go to your control panel and there should be something along the lines of "fonts and appearance".

talking bout photoshop man, those appear from the ones in my comp?
thought that was from the program...

but i went there and get the .tif files

Yeah, so am I, and to get them to appear in the program you have to actually install them on your computer.

I don't know how you're getting that, that shouldn't happen. :unsure:

WTF are you doing? :confusion:
You download and it should be a zip. You open the zip and in it there are usually three files, one or more TrueType font files [that's what you need to copy and paste into your font folder] depending on how many different version of the font are included, like italics, bold, small caps, etc, an image preview of the font, and a text document with information from the font's maker.
