Migrating over to a different system while keeping member accounts and posts is pretty difficult.

I like everything so far, save for the lack of a 'View New Posts' link. If that's resolved when Search returns, we're good.

I don't understand what's bad about phpBB

It's not really 'bad'. It's just outdated. It's been surpassed long time ago from vbulletin, smf and etc. You got a lot more options there than on php. And the layouts look like poverty, no disrespect to anyone that has been working on this one.

Ofc it is, but if you know how to do it, it shouldn't be a problem. Not saying that I could, but there's definitely someone that could. But let me ask you something, so 5 years from now, probably the biggest Em forum will still be running on php ? I mean, I don't know what ya'll are aiming at with this community, but I bet you would love for TR to be more 'offical' and have more members ? Something like vbulletin would def. attract to more people and just look better. Not to mention all the options you have with forums like these and all of the options you don't have with php

And it doesn't even have to be vbulletin, joomla or javascript could be great too.

But now that the layout is already changed I guess it's here to stay.

I personally don't want more members. If it turned into KTT I'd be disappointed. You can't even keep up with the posts on that site. What's the point?

Again, I like this layout but it needs some tweaks. There are also more "modern" layouts TR could have went with.. but he chose this one. I personally thought we were going to have a vote on layout and banners. I also thought we were going to keep the old layout as an option for those who hate change around here.

TR could never become like ktt since ktt is more like a hip hop forum. It's not really 'only' kanye anymore.

Wow. It really is different in here. I know changes will be made in the near future but one thing I do miss as of now is the active topics button. I used to click on that so frequently to see the most recent posts being made. But I'm sure that will return soon. Not crazy about the color scheme/layout but maybe it just takes getting used to. I'll be patient for more changes and improvements to come.
