Are we all just sitting around assuming TR is some day going to be updated one of these years? This forum has needed some serious work done, and the most frustrating part is that the most inconvenient things about the forum simply aren't difficult to implement fixes for.

I can understand if TR himself (or whoever's running this) simply doesn't have the time/interest or whatever. That's fine. But give the keys to someone for a sec so we don't have to keep using these ghetto workarounds.

The front page could be completely updated around it's current template and single-click video embedding could be implemented in less than half a day. Which would make for a great start. This could also be a great time to unveil a down-for-maintenance page by one of our many fine graphic artists. All I'm saying is that the forum doesn't have to be as 1999 as it is. what gives?

A forum is exactly that: "A meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged." - which I feel TRshady has always fulfilled. Even when I was fully active, I was against anything that distracts from the purpose. That said, I've also acknowledged that I'm not around enough. Will I sell? Never - but I do accept that I could do a lot more, even with the limited time I have. I've got a designer friend who's putting together a new design for the main website, hope to have it live in a matter of weeks. Also going around looking for what ya'll deem the biggest issues and will get 'em resolved.

Money isn't an issue anymore - but thank you for offering. I quit my job at the start of the year, my intention was to focus on my own projects full time - a few weeks in and I was lonely so got back to the city. That means I have money, but not time, but I've got a redesign in process, hope to bestow it upon ya'll shortly.
