i think the main reason is that it's a forum. if people want to chat, they can use msn, yahoo and so on. the idea of the forum is discussing things and sharing opinions and installing a chatbox would turn it into a chatroom..

Won't be happening but good news for ya'll ..
The forum software is being upgraded from v2 to v3 this week so expect things to look and feel quite different, hopefully with neat new features.
Although it's likely we may loose a mod or two, will see what happens. =D

and i believe i suggested that tee said it would make the forum less active which i now see is true (because im on other forums where they have shoutboxes and no one posts)

By mod I mean modification, as in an added feature of the board that
doesn't come by default. Although now you mention it ... *gets out whip*

and btw, maybe you should like a bank or shit for the download section so that you get money if you post download links and you can only request when you posted enough.. cause it's annoying when people just request without posting shit...
