help with uploading

ok...i have high speed internet which is awesome because i love speed. i surf the internet fast, i download fast but i have a HUGE problem. when i go to upload a file, it takes hours to finish it. does anyone know how to speed up the speed of uploading? i really need it. please help someone

the only firewall i have is windows firewall so how would i lower the settings on that? i went to the firewall thing on control panel but i didnt find anything to lower the settings

I have high speed also and Uploading is slow.
I think it's normal. But u can try at night, nightsurfing are less people.

u only have windows firewall?!? thats probably why uploading is slow and ur pc is gennerally a bit messy.....windows firewall is virtually useless....u need a proper firewall like zonealarm or something

well...i also have the "avast!" firewall but i dont see a settings bar on that either so i thought my best bet would be to lower the windows one. and yea...ur right, its useless
