How Do I Make Windows Media Player automatically start when I turn on my computer? Someone please help me

i had a look in tools- options where i would expect the option 'run wmp upon computer starting' but i can't find anything like it...very strange.sorry but cant help :unsure:

to my knowledge this feature is not available as an option. Maybe in future versions, who knows...

easy!!!


1.open up run box in start menu
2.type in regedit click ok
3.find ur way here
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run"

4.Right click in the window to the left, go add new string value, call it WMP or something.. enter it

5.right click on that, go modifty
paste this into the box
"C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe"

6. hit ok

7.and reboot


should work

do u want to run a SELECTED song.....

im not sure how to do a random song
i did it on win98 but not on XP

but i can tell u how to do it with a selected song via windows media player
