External Hard Drive + DVD Drive = Fuck....

It sounds like u got a software clash with the external and also dvd. U gonna have to upgrade the software or find other software that is compatible.

its a simple problem, it happens when you dont have many components to be installed, anyway, when you turn your computer on, check in the corner of the black screen for it to say press f somthing for setup menu, once you do this, you now have like the computer administrating panel, so what do you do now, first see if you can get into that menu



so, restart your computer now, then try to get in, when you do that and get in or not get in, log back on, and il explain the more difficult part lol

no prob, ps: theirs another way, when you hook up an external object make sure its hooked to secondary and not main plug in, inside, if not, that could also affect on this situation/problem

ok i dont know like a LOT about computers but, maybe u got like the wrong prioritys or someshit, have u looked in back of the harddrive and dvd??? theres these spike like things in a row, and they say somethin like MASTER, SLAVE etc.

your harddrive should be Master and the DVD should be somethin else other then that, cause u cant have 2 masters, but i might just be talkin out my ass, cause i think it has to do with 2 hardrives, 1 being master other being slave, and with 2 dvd/cd players, one is also master, the other is slave.

does this make sense???
