HARDDRIVE Failure, PLZ HELP!!!! its 200GGB!!

its a Barracuda 200gb HD, and i had it in my modded xbox, and one day it just started laggin like crazy, and when my freinds tried reformating it, he said it died or somethin, i still have it but i want to know if theres another way of fixing it, cause it was only 6 months old....

i used to bump my music and bass VERY loud with my x-box sorta near it, i thought it was fine where it was at, anyone know what i can do???

if it failed immedialty my xbox wouldnt have worked, it was a slow process, it just kept laggin, he says when he tried reformating it, thats when it stopped responding, its like he gave it the final blow, and what pisses me off is it costed over $100 not including the mod.

it didnt make sens that my xbox was workin, but just slowly, and then when he got his hands on it it died.

it also doesnt make sense that it would just die when it was so new.

A couple of months ago I bought a Barracuda 250GB, and after about 1 month, it completely died.
It got to hot.
When I took the temp of the drive, it was nearly 70C, outside the chassi, and thats not good..

Anyway, back to topic.
You don't tell me exactly WHAT happens when you put the disc in your X-Box again? Nothing?
Oh well, and what about putting it in your PC?
I guess there's a chance of saving it that way..

ya we tried connecting it to a pc, but i dont know how i can get it to recognize it, or it just wont...
