screen calibration

Postby Guess_Who » Feb 1st, '12, 13:33

Hi, I have a new laptop, and the screen is too bright, and it hurts my eyes, I adjust the brightness and it's fine, but every single time I reboot the computer it goes back to the old calibration , so I have to do it again.
what can i do for not having to this every day ? on my other computer when i reboot it keeps the changes i made.

Calibrate your monitor every 2 to 4 weeks for optimum visual accuracy.

That's the problem. I have to calibrate it every single time I reboot the computer because it doesn't remember my changes . And the original calibration, is way too bright. But it always goes back to that one.

If you have an AtiRadeon video card maybe you can change something in the Catalyst Control Center. But I don't know, your best bet is to google a solution. I'm sure you aren't the only one with that problem.

Thank you both...but I already tried it all. But as I said everytime I reboot the computer it goes back to his old calibration. I downloaded a program that worked but I watched everything terrible, so I deleted it. At this point I'm used to make the calibration everytime I reboot the computer so Is not a big deal anymore.
