I'm thinking about getting satellite radio for my car because the stations around here are horrible. Is it worth it? Is there a difference between the two? Which is better?

I don't get it tho, if I wanted to listen to it on my computer, I have to pay more and that I get.. but does that mean I need something else to play it from? What is this "plug and play" thing?
