yeh i used to have the same kinda problem.. my comp would restart by itself, and damn it was fuckin annoying..... but then i bought 1GB of RAM and now i have 1.24GB of RAM, and it runs smoothly most of the time.... it dont restart anymore...

how much RAM u got? maybe u got too much shit on ur comp...

Most likely a psu issue, to do with safety over anything else.
Often any other hardware issues will present at least some kind of error, even if it is a quick flash of the blue screen of death .. even the name makes me shudder.

anyways i found out that when my computer done i, it was becaues of the fan to the cpu was not plugged in, it sometimes gets pulled out.
or there is not enough watts in ur power pack to run evrything. have you put anything in ur computewr recently?

doubt its a ram fault....the pc wud just freeze then cut u off.....its gotta be overheating problem or a faulty cpu.......oh also cud be your power supply....id get it checked at if u got the cash and time.
