dvd-RW cam corder disks

about a year ago i had a camcorder which i sold later on, but anyways it burnt the vids recorded onto those little dvd-rw disks and forever now ive been wanting those vids, cause when u put it in the computer it comes up as a blank disk and asks if i want to burn a cd? and it wont play the video on the disk even when u go to my computer, click on the dvd drive,press play, etc.....they also wont play on the dvd player aswell. i DEFINATLEY know the vids are still on the disks tho cause if i put them in a cam corder they will play but wont play on anything else...so what im asking is there anyway i could rip these vids? or let alone watch them?
