i used to use my computer every day, and lately i haven't and when i go to turn it on now it sounds like its gonna start, but then the screen goes black and nothing happens. i hear a sound, i think the drivers, but no fan. so i turn it off by hitting the power button, and try it again. sometimes it fully turns on on the third or fourth time, and sometimes on the seventh or eighth time and thats when the fan turns on and it works just fine. could it be because theres something wrong with the power cord inside the computer? but the computer is only a year old, and i would hope it would last longer than a year

my first impression is ur VGA card.. check it .. remove and fix it again... let me know if it doesnt work
