Went To Install A 120gb Sata Drive, at the same time updated ram cards.
Switched on fine then got to windows.....Checked drives to see if sata drive appeared then pc restarted itself. After Acouple of tries the big blue screen of death showed sayin bad_sys_config with some no.s like 0000x00007 type shit.

Removed sata drive now the pc wont boot windows at all
Basically i fucked up my pc.... again lol

I'm running a 2.4ghz 1gb ram nd windows xp pro

Can anyone help me pleasee
Wil return help for trying

Cheers

I dont see why there is a problem. Should work perfect.

Oh blue screen. Dont change RAM. That's prolly the reason it does it.

Make sure Windows work without the new RAM n SATA drive. Then plug the SATA drive. If it works, format it and make it a single partition. THEN remove your old RAM and put the new ones. Let it run a memory check, see if it works correctly.

Wait a minute wait a minute....2.4 Ghz CPU and you think it can handle 1gb Ram? Switch to 512, see what happens.
