I have to wait even though I haven't downloaded anything yet

Hey,
Whenever I try to download from Rapidshare/Megaupload, etc, I have to keep waiting. Sometimes I'm told that I've just downloaded 'x' number of bytes so I have to wait, when in actuality I haven't even downloaded anything that entire day. Other times I'm told that I'm already downloading something, when I obviously haven't. This has been happening for a couple of days now, and it started out of nowhere. When I haven't even downloaded anything yet, why do I keep having to wait?
I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out.

yeah happens to me sometimes to, Rapidshare is the worst, Zshare is the best, I wish more people would use it,on zshare theres no limit,download as much as you want at once,no waits, plus zshare is 2 times quicker than Rapidshare for me. oh well.

it depends on your IP adress, if you are using a public IP adress that means ANYONE can use it and download from rapidshare and someone probably beat you to it and downloaded already with that IP but if you use your OWN IP then you can download when you can providing you havnt already coz your the only one that has used it.

And this never happened before, so even if it's a public IP address, how come no one got to it before I did all the other times?
