Fatal System Error (blue screen)

Postby Nick419 » Mar 11th, '09, 03:08

I have a new computer now so this isnt that big of a deal but i figure hey why just let something expensive like a computer be a waste of space just laying around so heres the story- Last year my old computer completely stopped working and when you turn it on it goes straight to a blue screen that says something like "fatal system error, the windows logon process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of (random numbers) The System has been shut down"

i have looked up tech. info. on the net and almost all sites suggest to reboot the system with the Windows XP reboot disk the pc came with, which i cannot find because i had that computer for years (believe me ive looked EVERYWHERE) or it says to press F8 and go into safe mode but unfortunately when i do this i get the dreaded blue screen again.

So is there anything i could do or am i fucked? cuz im not paying 2 have it fixed when it costs about the same amount 2 have a computer fixed as it is 2 buy one.

you could always download a bootleg version of windows xp or vista, install it and search online for student version xp or vista with product key

if you have torrents just search for it. if you need some assistance PM me
