i-opener mods

Ive heard that getting an i-opener in working condition is sort of rare and that there are many modifications that can be done to one can someone clarify this.

(for those that dont kno i-opener is a weird looking pc with a monitor attached to a wired keyboard and was sold for 99$-300$ in early 2000s)
