It's interesting how beautiful snow is when it's fresh and white, like a clean sheet of paper to draw on, then how ugly it is a week later when it's black with car exhaust and litter and such.

The white stuff is great for skiing, so I hope for much, much more personally.

I agree. It looks really nice when it's coming down and when it's on the ground and no car or truck has gone by yet. But then it looks ugly like the next day, all gray and heavy and ugly and a pain to shovel.
