Il be honest, i have no clue, but my studio dealers (the store i buy my shit from), they said thats how its supposed to be with a flat top mic like he's got.

you been mis-informed,either way you still get EXACT same audio capture.Plus having it upside down (with top of mic pointed to floor) means you have to have it at a slant which means the audio feed is not direct into the capture source.Wheras having it the way cgame has the mic is pointed directly in front of the mouth with no slant.

yea maybe i see ur point...

in a mic u get da settin of how to set da reception... da straight on.. full circle .. and bi side..( as in both sides )

we r usin da straight on with a slight angle... now we are usin da mic 90 degrees from da soundproof glasss.. to have da full circle of recording... dus maintainin low feedback..( sound bouncing )...
we tried a lot of presets and some pros also came and adviced on this..

i have to agree wit soreal but if da vendor toldya to have it upside down den cant argue as well...

@BAR... ur ryt dude.... mostly its used for production and for other vocals.... takin a 16 bar rap doesnt take much time but da vocals parts are kinda tirin...
