nice little setup next thing you should get is a better set of speakers, with a sub.. or if you have a lot of money, some studio monitors

yea haha that's what i want but at the moment i have no money... that's the reason i have 2 pairs of speakers, i just listen to the beat in both of them and my headphones nad make changes accordingly

I don't have studio monitors yet, I prefer to wait and buy some real quality ones instead of buying the cheapest I can get and not being satisfied lol... but another reason why I still wait is because I like the speakers right now, I can hear a lot of details with them compared to when I listen to songs on other sound systems... so I'm not in a hurry to get some studio monitors... and yeah I have a sub with my speakers, not so powerful but still not bad

then as tash said the best thing to do is play it on couple of players to make sure it sound ryt
wat we do is .. play it in the car set , head phones , couple of computer set ups... and then modify slightly..

you wanna get speakers that are cheap and good you should but logitech ones...my freind has one and it has so much damn bass but shit thing about it is it changes everything like if theres a vocal too loud or something you won't realize it..so get logitech if you want to have fun bumping music..but don't get logitech if you wanna make music

on the subject of speakers, in the studio i record in in college, we got to do mixing sound checks on top of the range speakers, then good speakers, shit speakers, headphones then in built PC speakers only if they sound kool on all of them will the lecturer allow the final mix to be rendered lol

it can be coz when i record bands in the studio i got to mix the snare, hi hat, kick, right tom, left tome tom, floor tom, over head left and over head right - thats for the drums, then quitars usualy 4 including a bass, then vocals....so mixing all of them and it sounds awesome then you put it on a lower class speakers and it sound like shit you got to go through everything again and tweek it till it sounds good again, it can get annoying as fuck lol
