It depends. I prefer a clean shave in general, but for example my boyfriend doesn't shave daily because his skin gets irritated if he does. I don't mind a beard of 3 or 4 days.
What I don't like is a beard of more than a week. The other day I was introduced to a guy with a big beard. When he gave me the cheek presentation kisses (we give 2 here) it was really annoying to feel his bushy beard on my face.
