Yeah I know exactly what you mean mate but here is one exception lol...

CAMERON DIAZ supports an English football team.

Arsenal? Chelsea? Man Utd? Liverpool? Hmmmm no it's actually BRENTFORD

Apparently Jim Carrey supports them too.

She is one of the world's most glamorous actresses, they are a football club in the English second division with whom the word 'glamour' has never before been knowingly associated.

To be frank, it doesn't appear to be a match made in heaven.Yet it seems Cameron Diaz just can't get enough of Brentford FC.

According to reports, there is a real Hollywood buzz about Brentford (nicknamed 'The Bees') because former chairman, Dan Tana owns a Los Angeles eaterie which is the restaurant du jour with movie superstars.

And Cameron's not the only one with a penchant for English footie. Click on the gallery link in the blue box, right, to see which stars support which teams.

'Cameron and Drew (Barrymore) are among the ladies who are regulars here. I like to think they come for the restaurant - but they come just as much to catch up on news about the club,' says Tana.

According to Tana they like to support the underdog rather than one of the Premier League giants.

They join him on the terraces atGriffin Park when in London and chat about the results each week at his restaurant.
