These, "many" people are idiots. The second reason to why people don't wear sunglasses(besides the obvious fact that they are useless indoors) in the buildings is because in most occasions u socialize inside the house in face to face conversations, and unless you are a total moron you'll that when you talk to a person out of respect you take of your sunglasses, because eye contact is basic acknowledgment of attention.

And wearing a hat in the house or in a building is about the most degenerate thing you can do, most people learn that after they turn 16-17, some "special" cases take much longer.
