We Need To Take A Stand

In a divided community we stand alone
Knowing we're the youth of tomorrow
Gathered together, divided by seperate identities
We're all equal, yet suffer different complications
Divided amongst each other by sex, nationality, and social ranking
Qualities differentiate between each individual
Different pasts leading towards different futures
Communities destroyed by drugs, alcohol, and violence
Discrimination brewing from hate and selfishness
But we still remain standing as a unity of soldiers
We've parted from the after effects of our parents raising
Fighting to further our rights and continuing to strive
Blinded by the insecurities of our on going life
Actions beginning to speak louder than words
Protesting the lack of freedom to practice our own beliefs
Holding hands, struggling to over power the ongoing fleet
Not knowing whether we'll be killed for our love towards each other
Spreading the words; live, love, life, and peace
We're seperated, will remain seperated, throughout life
