Rest and Peace

Rest and peace the day is done
Up with the moon and down with the sun
The stars are out and time for sleep
Some watch TV and some count sheep
To help drift into a sleep so deep
You may never wake up and never make another peep
But until our demise, we live our life
Unbothered by the possibility of death by knife
But for now I'll end this piece
By sayin bye, see ya, and peace


Tomorrow's Another Day

When I awake tomorrow from my great sleep
Refreshed and energized like a brand new jeep
I won't remember what I dreamt bout
Or what I'd done before I was knocked out
But at least the worries of the day before
Are out the door
Forever more
