So I wrote this thing based on a story i read in some magazine. Plz tell me what you think.
I'm sitting on a bench, my heart is racing
The sweat's got me drenched, arteries pulsating
I'm weak around the knees my legs are shaking
My body's trembling, Slowly the confidence is breaking
He comes outta the room wearing his fake smile
I pull myself together, it takes me a while
Call out his name he stops and looks back
I don't wanna play so I'm straight with the gat
His expression changes, eyes widen & tries to scream
I laugh and pull the trigger, snicker as my scheme
Seems to have worked, but now the plot thickens
Cuz I'm surrounded by cops armed looking panic stricken
I drop my gun, hands in the air with the white flag
They cuff my hands, read ma rights & just like that
I become a convivt, after the trial they sentence me to death
But fuck that, let me take you back to how this all started
I owned a farm with my family when hope hadn't yet departed
I was happy & content until those fucking planes bombarded
Our little town with missiles & rockets & destroyed what we'd crafted
I lost my children and my wife was left to be fucking retarded
She couldn't bear the pain, slit her wrists & joined the dearly departed
And i was left alone in the world to deal with the hardship
The next day the troops stormed in & we were left to fish in the garbage
For left-overs we ourselves had discarded about a week ago
Casualties of war in plenty, many people could see no more
It was our fault, we'd been too careless in essence
Under the impression no one could harm us in God's presence
But it seems God likes to indulge himself in other fantasies
Because he's been sending us plagues and wars for centuries
It's just been us who've been too blind to realize but eventually
Our minds and eyes have opened to his so-called mysteries
Because as I read and studied about His history, I was hit with an epiphany
A realization that he's destroyed many civilizations
But I wouldn't have expected this from civilized nations
And amidst all this havoc, I heard of a maverick
A man who claimed to have devised a plan
A plan for us to extract our revenge on the man
Who was responsible for our situation, I was driven mad by what they did to my fam
So needless to say I followed his plan
And now I'm sitting on death row waiting for my execution
Sometimes I even dream of the scene of my electrocution
But I'm not afraid, infact, I'm waiting on the day with eager anticipation
When they come & shave me bald, strap me on & wipe off the precipitation
From my brow and I'll be smiling cuz I'll know I'm going to a better place
Because after this I don't think hell will be that hard to face
