WHAT RAP MEANS TO ME
JUST SILVER- GREEN
JR- RED
EEDEE- BLUE
DGAF- PURPLE

Just Silver wrote:Silver monster with some brass balls, spits hot enough to make grass tall
Giraffe tall your flat balls, cant court with me bringin in the rosary
And a double pump so youll be pumped how your supposed to be
Shoulder colder than the frozen degrees, Never spoke to police
Im leaving the scene like actors on the afterparty, coke and the trees
Yeesh, i could rap my ass off like the lipo for a model, gyro with your spinal
Nines go through designed clothes,my flows usually consist of fuck bibles
Maybe some guns or ill go classic like the vinyl, im young and im raspy,
Eyes closed, mind blown, till im waved thats my Title, ashy, laugh spit cyclone
Im froze ,flow ill switch it up, cause i know how you are ignor-ant
Bigger blunts when my figures come in, thats none a month
Im humble son, numb to some, but i dont give a fuck to em
Never made sum of mon-ey i say fuck, police and other things
Government can suck a dick,a bunch of gifts my toungue with piff
Rap until im outta fucking oxygen, sick like an apocalypse
Mixed cough lozenges im partial pissed and this was my art i spit

Art I spit and twist to make shit you wanna censor cause it's messin with your mind,
this message of mine, I give it away for free, but when I master it I'll be makin dimes,
and my time is plenty, twenty years from now I'll still be going strong with the beats,
dre get back in your seat, I wasn't talkin to you, and detox wasn't released.
Cease? I can't, Mystical feats are what you could compare me to, it really isn't fair to do,
cause then these other rappers gotta bare the news their shit is wack,
hear em moanin and groaning "little B.Nutz bitch is back"
Which in fact is true, I've paid my rappin' dues,
and I'ma ride this beat so hard it'll be bruised.
And here's some news for you to get through your brain
JR's the name, slayin' y'alls the game, hop on my train,
can't call it change, always had the potential, just was untapped,
racked my brain for a while, then my rhymes got stacked,
I laugh cause you motherfuckers always doubted this, and so did I.
"You know I'm right" that's what they always said, made me hate music,
that was my influence, I used it, save me from being ruined,
And before I knew it..I was right back here with my game and y'all was surprised,
the same kid you'd seen with the very same eyes
had blew your minds...

CHORUS
And then...
I realized what rap meant to me.
It wasn't about money, or flashy cars, or even being the best.
It was just about realizing I had the talent to actually be good at it. And I'm not even on the level of actual rappers..
That's what rap means to me..

Catastrophic wrote:To me rap is beautiful, music is escapism
Therapeutic tracks, use them as a way into
A different world – where lyrics and rhymes
Supersede the feelings hurt when they diminish your pride

And I can finish his lines and expand on his thoughts,
They can make a connection, or be random or not.
I write the headaches away, the bed stays the same,
Sometimes rap is a cover but more or less, play the game.

Staying sane through these schemes it’s a dream, it’s an art
It’s a way to be free when it seems you’re apart

And the screams that I start help me power on through,
Hey DGAF, we can write for hours... want to?

I could scour songs, dude, perfecting our own craft
Neglected your slow trash we’re destined to go past

I'd never denote that we're better than yo' ass,
What rap means to us? That we've detected a dope pad.

Got tired of fucking waiting. We roll on TODAY.

Dope. Good job to Silver and J.R., I really liked your parts and your message.

Silver had weird ass train of thought haha. Not sure where he was going with all that near the beginning but it all came back around, I think, in terms of a good ending. Flow was iffy, like some lines were longer than others and syllables felt off. Still good rhyming though!

I felt J.R. had a good thing going in terms of train of thought but the flow was weird to me. Maybe because we didn't have a beat so I created my own flow for it. Just the length of lines felt off. Oh well. Good job nonetheless. Had some great rhymes in there. :y:

One thing though, you should change Silver's color to dark green. That light lime shit is hard to read haha

Done, and thanks for the feed. I felt like Silver killed it and had did indeed have a weird ass train of thought going, but I loved his rhymes and those multis kept the flow moving for me.

Catastrophic-

Love the back n forth, let me say that.

Like I said, sick back n forth, good multies which keep the flow steady and maybe a subliminal at the end lmao

JR and JS work on the structures, my niggaz, looka at Catastrophic, well balanced verse. I think JR content was better than the rest, followed by JS and Catastrophic. JR actually seemed to struggle with the phrasing deparment, it felt like you wanted to say a lot of thing but just couldn't put it out in bars, multis could have been better. Infact y'all work on the Multis. JS's content was weird, yet decent for his standards. Faired well with the Multis at places, JS. It seems that it was Catastrophic who wrote as per the topic because they were actually saying something that was close to the topic in hand. Good job, duders.
