When I walk up to the light
I feel blinded by the sight
of the spot light, I might
slip 'cause I don't see a thing
but I feel my body reacting
all at it self, like the light
trigert some kind of automatic
mechanisme,
I walk up to the stage
feeling like I'm walking in a cage
surounded by bars made of the audience out there
feeling like a convict, burning holes
of the spotlight on my face and hair
But when the beat kicks in
the door of the cage starts opening
the beat go's on and on
and the door keeps opening up
I reach to the mic, ready for my entrance
The spotlight stops dazzling my performence
The light seems to be backing me up from the back
the audience is cheering, I succeeded in my task
the beat starts to fade away trough the noise
I turn around, and I slow up my flow and voice
as I fade away trough the light, like diming the lights of a car
only thing left is the crowd screaming 'SUPERSTAR'......
