How Do You Write Your Raps??

I usually always write cuz i am very creative. I also am weird b/c I write the same song to different beats, rock music, rap music, accapella, while listening to music with one ear bud in my ear.

Don't need a beat, a feeling or a line to start writing. I just write shit down that I feel like writing down, then I keep it going like that. And suddenly I have a song wrote down, then I get a beat that suits the shit i wrote and make it flow.

That's how I do it.

i agree with both i sometimes write 2 the beat for the song or other beats i like n make me feel the same way as the emotion for the song...and at the same time when i start writing a line for 1 song with or without the beat it turns into another and i just keep writing and writing then next thing i know i got 3 full tracks about the same thing so i gotta pick out the lines i like n re-write it

but most of the time (like my most recent post-R.A.P.) I just said "I wanna rap fuck it" so I clicked the "New Topic" and I just Thought it up- Instrumental-Lyrics-Chrous(in this case not the chorus)-rhymes all withing 20-30 Minutes and I was taking trips to the tv in the meanwhile.

some of the stuff on here is interesting.
when i write i just open microsoft word on my laptop, i've never written to a beat before, all accapella.
i find that i write best when i'm emotionally involved in the lyrics i'm writing. if i'm angry, or sad, that's when i'm at my best. but if nothing is going on, i just get a writers block

do any of you know any good beat makers you can download off the internet?

I have a special technique on how I get the perfect flow for my verse.

I take a word like astronomical, monsters haunt us all, not so logical, cost of Popsicles, socks are austic dude, cause for hostile fools. Etc...

Then, I construct a line:

My flow is astronomical // comets will crash and bomb us all

I avoid rhyming word for word like some, it makes everything sound forced and lacking flow.

Simon won't ask to find us // cause Simon says it's a logical < normal
scientific design terrific timing inside every single line spit < fast line
and I'm sick of the signs of he's sicker than speaking your mind this < fast like
is a bleaker more heated design of seeking to find a belief, it's < fast line
a meaning to live we all seek and search for to find that it's only < fast line
real if we believe in it // otherwise it's just phony... < normal

Keeps the song from sounding boring.
