She would liken lust to gold and she would chase it over rainbows,
(incase it would escape) then erase it with the same stroke of genius..
The evening would sketch a darker hue upon the pigment of my skin
So I can blend into the shadows when the bidding war begins
I'll, watch Ms. Unfortunate torturing herself..
Toss an auction for her body to afford to visit hell,
(is it well? Is it clean?).. It is everything you dreamed for, isn't it?..
traveling same path, eyes stained glass shut, shatter all the images..
Passing off the difference is a perfect imperfection,
And the lesson is an intricate guess on what your worth is..
Working to the surface, try to climb a new identity..
Find a noose, hang it high, and hide behind what's left of these
Skeletons you left with me.. I'm delicate
I'm, held together with the souchers in my wounds
yet they're crumbling in hindsight..
Stumbling around tryna find a reason I'm right..
find a reason I might forget about the scars
Two fingers in my temple til my vision turn to stars..

I fed cosh's piece.

Never fail to impress.

It's your word choice and the assonance that make your pieces always "sound" so smooth - not just the flow, just the overall sound as you flow/read it. Makes it so much more enjoyable.

There's always something interesting in your rhyme schemes as well.

This bit was my favourite part:

Passing off the difference is a perfect imperfection,
And the lesson is an intricate guess on what your worth is..
Working to the surface, try to climb a new identity..
Find a noose, hang it high, and hide behind what's left of these
Skeletons you left with me.. I'm delicate
I'm, held together with the souchers in my wounds
yet they're crumbling in hindsight..
Stumbling around tryna find a reason I'm right..

Fucking dope man. I can't believe I didn't see this. As usual, amazing wording of things, great imagery and your talent for poetic realism is as endearing as ever.
