McMaybe:
Homeless... lost within his mind...
alone... ashamed of what his obstacle defined...
but the anger couldn't constitute a crime... (he was out of sight),
he couldn't leave the box behind... that's all he had in life...
he use to have a wife... (but her eyes are closed forever)
because unemployment doesn't coin insurance in demand,
when it's urgent and the surgeon diagnosed her with the cancer,
and the fan blades, spinning like apartments in the projects,
barricades... withholding accomplishments or prospects,
following a god-bless... (he chased it with a dream)...
when the sparkles in his eyes become a staple for the seam...
but the park bench, offered him the purity,
(lost)... within a pile of his inner-child's insecurities...
and the lost kids... he pointed towards a home,
he wouldn't offer wisdom... he had nothing left to show...
You're on the other side..
You're on the other side..
You've made a sacrifice..
You've made a sacrifice..
It's been so nice and giving...
You've lived a life worth living...
It's not so bad to die..
It's not so bad to die..
Siinide:
he was convicted as a criminal if 'criminals' a loving verb,
and nothing hurts worse than when he's kicking up another curb
(pick it up).. just to work the kinks within the sidewalk..
he seeps into the drywall to live another day alone,
pray he's home, or fight another battle just to make it so,
make it so he loses and it loosens up the fraying rope
he recites an incantation that will make you wanna stay with him
or lay with him a moment he'll atleast get through the day again
as sober as he can be.. you and I, we can't see
the man behind the mirror or the truth behind the banshee..
he's branching out again it's an attempt to hit a higher peek,
I would seek a shelter but then who am I to try & speak?
(a fella with an ego) ... (a complex of a major god)
say I'm wrong but everything he knows is what I'm based upon,
a faceless pawn walking just to try and find another queen
he smothers each piece until the rook becomes a lover's dream... (ahhhhhhhhhhh)
