9/11

I posted this on here, back in January, and I didn't want to bump it, so I figured I'd repost it, because I really liked this one. Even though, I think it could have been a lot better.

Homicides, suicides, all caused by the Northwest Kamikaze//
African Americans, Caucasions, Hispanics, Germans, even swazis//
Unexpected~glass~shattering~horrific~deaf~screaming~explosion//
20 tons of 330 corpes hurtling, grinding screech enough to cause erosion//
231 degrees and rising, smoke billowing, flaring glow of conflagration//
Alarms sound, bodies lade out to burn, thousands fleeing out of realization//
Unforeseen~desperation~trampling~stampeding~victims into the bloody staircases//
Few tumbling our from the collasping towers as seen on CNN, as millions view unable to breathe and embrace//
Schools evacuating, bases fly into DELTA, jobs closing, tears many tears are now being shed//
Those very few who run out of the skybuilders running in different dirctions, as long as its ahead//
The Nations Capitol are cancelling all flights, but one remains but not for long//
Though made of steel, metal, and bullet proof, security tight, the Pentagon could not remain strong//
Some citizens were still unaware of the traggic events that were a phenomenon//
Hurling screams for a radius unknown, terrorists celebrating as they think they won//
Days went by, streets remained full, search parties dug in the remaining ashes but for what//
The Military fighters began to suit up, but no one cheered them on the doors then still remained shut//
Thousands were sent to Iraq, many fighting for lost family, others for revenge//
Bullets remain stabing and the casulty rates still increase, but the war was over 3 years after avenge//
4 years later architects have found and decided on a plan to build new Twin Towers//
Sayin' theres more safety percautions~emergency exits~we'll use stronger steel//
The new Towers will not be destroyed like a tooth pick, we won't feel fear, this Country is ours//
Many are devistated with the decision made by U.S. officials but yet patrisom is seen//
Millions of individuals cry throughout the 5 years gone by, but flags and respect still fly high//
There's something many have fought for many of times, but now we open our eyes//
And realize the United States stands for freedom and we were living a lie//

Sarah wrote:Nice. I didn't see this when you posted it back in January  I don't think I was reading anything in this section. I didn't come in here til I started writing myself, cos I thought reading what other people had would kinda teach me a lil, since I learn by watching....

Anyways.....did you write that just after the 9/11 terrorists attacks, or a few years after? Well.....it was really good anyway :flower:

I wrote it in 05'. I was bored and everything, and it kept being on the news, this in Iraq, this in Afgahnastan(sp), this in Iran, so I was like it's time to write something that will summarize what began all this fighting in these places and world disorder and shit...you know?!?

My dad knew a lot of military people that were up there at JFK who were dispatched over there, he was grief stricken all day. Even guys can be worried and shed their tears. It was the first and only time I've ever seen my father cry. :'(
