Of Wolf and Man

Postby Spyder » Oct 26th, '11, 19:10

IMO one of my better pieces, was for a topical battle long ago so didnt get much notice,
and i dont think many of these new cats if any have seen it. so enjoy :y:

The darkness surrounds and shrouds this place I remain
aroused compounds in my brain I disgrace to this day,
I pace in a way to figure out how to contain the beast ive become
As the clouds fade the sudden increase to feast on someone,
When will dawn come, I lock the door that I inhabit, my cell
Break mirrors as the reflections image no longer mimics my health.
This is my hell, pale faced, sweat trickles down the plates of my spine
Core heats up to temperatures that I just cant take it so I,
Shred my clothes as my house a mess, a heap by the door
Can hardly breathe anymore, I drop, clutch chest, knees to the floor.
All I speak is remorse as I wished for the power to change
Be above human, now this rage courses and sours my veins,
Less than an hour remains as the weather patterns seem to thin out
Others lives will be taken tonight beyond reasonable doubt
I feel him come out, the moon shines clear, this is past my regrets
As my nostrils flare and hairs stand erect on the back of my neck
Begin shaking within, grasp the window as it my breaks from my grip
I seem to just burst out my skin like a snake when it sheds,
My fangs grow and spread wide as I dart my red eyes
I then try to conceal the remains of the humans dead hide,
Im now on the prowl, pounce and scour the streets
My inner self cowers beneath, I thrust my head to howl and speak
Fierce predator as I endeavor the breaking prey of the night
I stray from the lights, into shadows as I escape from his sights.
Slip in behind him, silent, breath evades from my chest
I see hes draping in sweat, beads on the nape of his neck
Turn around teeth engage in his head, blood tasting of lead
Sewer drains filled with red from the pain he just met,
The skies brighten, my fur falls to the floor of cement
Replaced with flesh, the day changed me mortal again.

You got this shit nailed dude.
Nothing I can say.

And I sorta feel useless for not being able to give feedback.
I guess talent doesn't need help.

This is really good man, I like this a lot. Given the length, it's tough to read through the entire thing once and see everything you've done, which is why it took so long for me to feed it, because I feel like I owe it to the writer to look at every aspect of their piece. But this is sick dude, I really like it. The rhyme scheme is awesome, I loved how it transitions really smoothly through every line.

Those first two lines man, dang. They're really really good. :y:

Spyder delivers yet again.

Appreciate the Horro-Core theme that you have chosen :shifty: ,it's becoming my personal favorite too. Although it was good but...some how was low on the actual Horro-Core content. This could have been more dramatic if you had presented it in a better manner .What I mean is that the Lyrics should have been more Scenic.I appreciate the story telling aspect of this but could have been better (LOL ,I said it again).

You should listen to Rhyme Asylum. :coffee:
