I didn't graduate this year I'll be graduating next year but the School newspaper asked me to write a graduation poem for the class of 2006 and this is the poem it's called The Future
u can't go ur whole life wit out makin' mistakes
the mistakes u make 2day will reflect on the tomarrows to come
Weather good or bad it dosen't matter cause' ur futures
depend on the good and bad u've done
things won't always go ur way but think of it like this
if it wasn't for bad luck u wouldn't evwn have luck at all
as u set out on the journey of life 4get the people that doubted u
try to remember the 1's that were there to pick u up durin' ur worst falls
by now we all know that life isn't always eazy
we've been through some hard times
and the hardest are still yet to come
but even after all has been said and done
just remember that 10 years from now
it won't matter how popular u were or what clothes u wore
when u were in high school
so hold ur head up and be proud
some of us will be lawyers
some of us will be doctors
some of us might even be famous
and some might be teachers
others might just be mothers and fathers
we don't know for certain what the future holds
but for now we'll just take our memories of childhood
and keep them 4ever cause' a persons childhood
is more precious then gold
so we'll clean out our lockers and say goodbye to our friends
some we'll keep in touch with others we'll never see again
and we'll remember the teachers that helped us get this far
the teachers we liked and the 1's that we didn't
it dosen't matter they were all a part of our lives
weather it was helpin' us wit school work or breakin' up our fights
let's thank them 4 carin' about our futures
lets even thank the 1's we don't like
