I usuall don't write poems unless it's for school but i wrote this after i lost someone close to me....

I hear a heartfelt laugh
I see a true smile
A smile from the heart
Eyes lit up with love
I know this face
But now it is gone
The laugh is only echoes
The eyes a vague glimmer
The smile a mere remembrance
I hurt
When will I see
This face again
This face I loved so well
Why did you leave
Why did you go
