we got to get up and do something about our lives
so lets pick up from where we left off n make a change for the best
and even tho I hang onto the edge
may I help others realise they are failing the greatest test
cuz this aint no fable, its a quest
and until my tale is to rest I must rise cuz we're all blessed in God's eyes
n I'm not creating a mess
whats bad is that I'm caged like arrest
but every page I write at my desk helps me aim for success
outside there lies danger: progress
dont have anger n stress decide which way you're pavin your paths
the pain is in ya mind playin ya head until ya end ya time: when you're decayin in death
its chaos but I train to survive, savin no breath
exhalin what I think, nothin less I will say to explain this terrain: the place where I'm at
locate on the map the state that ya rep n wait not a step too late or regret everyday
cuz I said you should stay ahead of the game
so you better remain in the battle or bait to the Devil you're claimed
and that isn't safe cuz as a shadow you'll fade
there's a canvas to paint and your medal's on stage, your level to train n elevate
dont end up a stale mate like in chess, escape
respect the scrapes n peddle straight to validate impressive traits
