Life: Vol. 1 (please read...opinions needed...)

Life is confusing. Friends come into it, and can leave just as quick. Some people make millions a day while others haven't eaten in days. Some live everyday like it was their last day, some decided to make today their last day. With all the hatred growing within us all, its hard to maintain a healthy state of mind. Depression strikes us all. Sometimes for stupid reasons. Our leaders are all idiots, yet we are one of the most respected countries on Earth. Some people are told what to do from the beginning of life, while others step out and make their own decisions. In a world where a girl can be crowned a Princess just for being beautiful, and a man can be King because he has money and power, is it really worth living? What about this God of yours, huh? What has he done for us all lately? Name one positive thing that has happened to you today that could have been the work of "God". We're running out of time brothers. Its time to rise up. Realize what is really happening in our world. People stop being friends because of a "Top 8". What is that? That ain't ethical. People cheat. We've all had the boyfriend or girlfriend that cheated on us. Some have even had abusive mates. Why do we decide to forgive them for reeking more havoc in our lives? People are stupid. We're all idiots. And I ain't excluding myself. But it's time to learn. Do what you want to do in life, don't listen to anyone else. Just because your parents want you to do something doesn't mean you have to. Live how you want, and don't change yourself for one damn thing. I could continue on for hours on end, but I will cut it short here for the night. Thank you for listening.

Life is ABOUT learning!!

It is a long distance marathon where there are extremes in conditions such as people and different rules and regulations in regards to ethnicity and culture (and that is only the beginning...).

Personally, as long as we respect ourselves and are open minded to the opinions of others- (we don't have to agree on everything) and stand up for ourselves in our own unique way, we can all participate; regardless of what anyone else thinks!!

I liked your piece, however if you keep it and check back on it in say five years, I bet you could make it even better.
