I still think about the times we never spoke
I choke up thinking about our old sarcastic little jokes

Till that day I decided to tell you that weekend I was gonna stay
In a daze, we were sitting on the sofa getting to know each other more
Of corse it was scary when you hugged me just before I walked out the door
It was like the floor, had been pulled out from beneath me, I wanted more
But for sure, you texted me later saying you wanted to kiss me
That gripped me; made me wish we did, you even said that you missed me
This is me and you, our story had just begun, next night we were back at it again
This should never end, I knew I liked you more than a friend
It was not pretend, it was more than friendship when we had out first ever kiss
And shit, never before in my life had I ever felt as good as this
It hit me quick, you’re the one I want, we met up every single night
You took over my life, you’re the reason I had smile on my face every morning light
