A Poem

[-[Zach]-]

lonely roads, and where they lead God only knows
lookin for shelter even though i know i'm home
lost and not carin where i'm goin
no one by my side to help guide me, i'm hurt and its showin
my best is just as good as the next mans worst
i'm destined for second, not meant for first
i'm cursed, it hurts, but its been like this since birth
words are hard to find
i try to find them but i'm blind
cryin don't solve problems
but i don't what i can do to solve them
God's watchin, this has got to be a test
with the gift ta speak, i'm blessed
the rest look and judge
but its mostly just because they have a crooked grudge
took the sludge off the streets, described it and made poetry
so to speak about people with gifted visions, you can't help but know its me
the coldest streets provide the warmest heat
horribly burning souls but its just the normalcy
everyday same thing mentality
its wrong but its just how it be
