We used to be close enough to tell eachother our deepest secreat// Trusting that the other would keep it//
we used to get into some deep shit//
We lived through the same experieces//
mental, sexuall, and emotional abuse we both experienced it//
so wat happened to our friendship//
how could we let a stupid argument end it//
u told me we were gonna be friends forever and I thought u meant it//
then u let an argument get u offended//
then I got all defensive//
but y can't we just take wats been broken and mend it//
u were closer to me then my own family members//
don't u remember//
we promised we'd be friends forever//
we even had plans to leave together//
and come back never//
we were gonna travel the world and leave the past behind us//
we were gonna settle in London and hope the past would never find us//
but now it's been too long and we've drifted apart but I guess thats just wat time does//

and now I've come to know//
y they say friends come and go//
for a while it was fun ya' know//
but now thats all in the past//
a lost friendship that was never meant to last//

I remember way back when//
It was just me, u, Barbara and Jen//
the four of us were the best of friends//
then u and Jen got into a fight about me//
I was caught in between//
don't get me wrong I'm not trying to put the blame on anybody that would be mean//
but the arugment was pointless y'd it have to be me//
then u stoped talking to me for a while//
then I called u that night and we got into an arguement but now all I wanna do is reconcile//
but u've turned so cold an vile//
u forgot that when u were down I was always the one who made u smile//
I was always there to back u up//
whenever someone threatend to smack u up//
I was always the one who had ur back//
u let it all end because of an argument I never forgave u after that//
and now I'm stuck in the aftermath//
of our friendship's shaddered path//
I just want our friendship back//
is that too much to ask?//

and now I've come to know//

our friendship came and went to fast//
If only there was a way to prevent the past//
but we can't change wats already been done//
expecally now that Jen's gone//
and barbara's on the run//
Last I heard she was headed for miami//
with her man, there supposed to be staying with his family//
and as for Jen it's like she dissappeared//
I haven't seen her in over a year//
Last time I talked to her she said that she had run away and got raped//
I always told her running away would be a mistake//
but she never listened I guess running was just her way to escape//
I haven't talked to her since that night//
the 4 of us used to share our secreats with eachother and now it's hard to believe we were once that tight//
I just don't understand y u took so much offense to that fight//
that was ur weakness u always got offended to quick//
over things that were pointless and stupid//
Jen's weakness was running from her problems and Barbara's weakness was drugs//
but my weakness was the 4 of us//
