Carrying My Own Cross

Postby judah » Jun 19th, '08, 08:07

Man As life goes by...
I stare at it and wonder some times why
we still so addicted in material world
money, cars, ice and a lot of big ass girls
is bullshit!!!
not long ago I understood that life aint no easy dick
I truly believe in G O D
I trust He got something after for me
So, I keep my soul for when I get to meet him
Prepare my speech so when he asks I convince him
I am sinner alright, man I aint no perfect
Nobody is... Jesus had to go 40 days tru' the Desert
to prepare his body and mind
So he could take for him yours sins and mine
I am gratefull he did that to someone he didnt know
So as the wind blows to my faith I go
my goal is to live the way gandhi did
donate myself to my fam and my peeps
No I aint tryin' to be no boss
All I am tryin' to do is to carry my cross!!!

hey, tanx 4 the comments... however I am not sure thats a poem or its overreligious.

I'd take more like if someone tryin' to c the truth... I mean sometimes everybody wonders whats after this shity life aint it?

but yeah, critics make us better.

thanks

I liked it. The concept was good, pretty original. You might have a hard time making that flow because the structures weird but other than that it's pretty good. :y:
