Finding Diamonds

Postby James R. » Nov 4th, '08, 04:51

Verse 1
I walk into the spot and they bow down at my feet
Hear bass when I step on the ground poundin the heat
You clowns bound to get beat, you’re down sound for defeat
There’s nobody around so now drown into peace
I’m up to no good, son I’m down to get raw
Yeah I’m down to get down beat you down to the floor
Fuckin frontin so hard like your down for it all
So if you’re up for a fall then I’m down for a brawl
Rappers are faker than than silicon, you little drones
It ain’t a riddle holmes I’ll break them brittle bones
Murder the mic so at my shows the reaper’s hopin
Somebody comes at me wrong cuz he knows I’ll leave ‘em open
Rappers don’t take me seriously like “please he jokin”
No opponents standin now their fuckin knees are broken
I keep ‘em choking lines leavin their speakers smoking
Pen’s inked out so lemme fill it with hemoglobin

Chorus x2
{Nobody ever doubted that I would shine wit the rhyme}
{It’s like, like, like}, like finding diamonds in grime
{It’s like, like, like}, like finding diamonds in grime
{It’s like, like, like}, like finding diamonds in grime

Verse 2
I’m the underdog man but I’m still dyin to bet
Flow to my heart beat I see you I eyein my chest
You tryin ya best sure but for real I ain’t impressed
You think you better than me must be high as a jet
I’m tired of pests, lyin, and stress I’m tryin to rest
Maybe you think I’m wrong so prove I ain’t correct
Dude’s vibin my set, but come retire the best
I look at the game now and I just sigh with distress
Authentic made in this time fulla herbs and bitches
I heard ya disses, might as well been fergalicious
Private school kids talking about all this murder business
A surge of senseless mirror shit that’s just worded different
Dirty snitches bringin rap to absurd positions
Worthless missions to get cash so it hurts to listen
Rims and cars, crack and fiends, birds and kitchens
Grew up right but you talking hard which version is it?

Chorus x2
{Nobody ever doubted that I would shine wit the rhyme}
{It’s like, like, like}, like finding diamonds in grime
{It’s like, like, like}, like finding diamonds in grime
{It’s like, like, like}, like finding diamonds in grime

Ok so pretty much the deal with the chorus is that a friend of mine recorded me spittin smtn I wrote and posted here before and make it sound all chopped, screwed and funky, and I thought “That would sound good as a hook” so the parts that are in {}’s are all screwed and the other part would be spoken normally. Don’t know if this needs a 3rd verse or not.

Here's the beat I wrote this to.

it's called Grand Entrance by Anno Domini Beats. Hot hot HOT shit.

those verses are absolutely sick, and the chorus is awesome.
i love the concept, and hte way u rhyme is incredible. u don't just rhyme the end words, u copy the whole flow. like
e i o u,
see my show too.
that sort of thing. u'v MASTERED the flow for this. absolutely killed it.
btw, typo in title "finging diamonds" to "finding diamonds"
lol, good shizz man :8)

Sick...enough said.
Enojoyed reading it, the flow was superb, rhymes were great, like the wide vocab you use.
I really liked this line :
It ain’t a riddle holmes I’ll break them brittle bones

keep bringing up those sick pieces man, I enjoy reading them.
